"We can put as many people as we want in prison, but the reality is 95 % are coming back … and they come back no better than when they went in. People don't perceive this as their problem, but it is all of our problems."

S.A.M.

Simple Acts Ministry was founded in 2004. We began with a vision to minister not only to prison inmates but also to ex-offenders who are making a transition into the free world.

From establishing a Faith Based prison dorm, to opening a hospitality house for recovery and reentry, Simple Acts is working strategically to be part of the solution.
The Spiritual Difference

What can restore peace to our cities and bring about lasting change in the lives of offenders?

Jesus said, "You will know the Truth, and the Truth will set you free." The crux of our mission is to introduce inmates to the truth of Christ and to create opportunities to grow in their knowledge and relationship with him.

The Bible offers relevant, practical information about living in the real world through the lens of a new mind and heart. When inmates begin a new lifestyle in prison, and become part of a faith-based support system after their release, the statistics change. The crime rate goes down, the number of re-arrests are reduced, and fewer return to prison.

They break the cycle.
